Perhaps companies like Netflix, Disney, Tencent & Alibaba (or Substack) could share some of their subscription technology with Nigeria? Or teach Nigerian programmers how to build subscription products.

I feel it, I've been trying to subscribe to Quartz Africa with no success and had to reach out to the support team, they also replied they were facing a bug and fixing it :( The customer experience for streaming services and media in general needs to improve fast otherwise companies will likely decide to shut down their services based on low performance while they didn't even give customers the chance to subscribe and be loyal.

Until they fill up this wide gap (“talent gap” just as David Egwede said) they’ll keep having this issues.

NAIRABOX is not a cinema company but the fact they are able to get the subscription process right and make the process is easy or the user experience easy rather, it shows that Film house is just not getting the right engineering team or talent to do the job and it’s just embarrassing because honestly I feel they can afford it.
